What is Test Automation?
Test automation is the use of scripts that simulate the actions of a user in software. It can also be applied to other technologies such as mobile applications and web pages.

The scripts exactly replicate a user's steps, filling in data, comparing values and performing clicks. In addition, it is possible to perform validations on the backend, interacting with API's and database. One of the great advantages is the need to only check the status of the test at the end of its execution.
